Job Description:

Required:
Proven experience with SAP BW on HANA or BW/4HANA.
Extensive experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and BW performance optimization.
Strong understanding of SAP BW architecture, including cubes, DSOs, queries, and process chains.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in ABAP programming for BW (e.g., user exits, start/end routines).
• Experience with SAP HANA and BW/4HANA development.
• Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other BI tools.
• Knowledge of other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM) and their integration with BW.
• Experience with SAP BW upgrades and migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead a team of BW developers, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical support.
• Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
• Conduct performance reviews and support professional development within the team.

Technical Development and Design:

• Design and implement SAP BW solutions to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SAP BW tools.
• Optimize BW queries, cubes, and data models for performance and scalability.
• Implement best practices for BW design, coding, and documentation.

Integrate BW solutions with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP ECC) and third-party applications.

Project Management:

• Plan, execute, and manage BW development projects, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of BW systems.

System Maintenance and Support:

• Manage and troubleshoot BW systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Provide second and third-level support for BW-related issues.
• Implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as required.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with business users to understand their reporting and data analysis needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Present BW solutions to stakeholders and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BW technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
• Lead initiatives to improve data quality, accuracy, and accessibility within the BW environment.
